Orange Chicken Noodle Dish

  • 2 packages of Maruchan Chicken Flavor Ramen
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • None Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • None Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch +1 tbsp water)
  • None Sesame seeds, to garnish
  • None Scallions, sliced, to garnish

Gather Ingredients

Prepare Noodles

Cook Maruchan Chicken Flavor Ramen in 6 cups of boiling water for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, then turn off the heat. Add the contents of the seasoning packet and stir well for 1 minute until the seasoning is fully dissolved.

Cook Chicken

Heat a large skillet to medium-high heat and add oil. Add chicken cubes to the hot pan and season with salt and pepper. Brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.

Prepare Sauce

Add ginger and garlic to the pan and saute for 1 minute, then add orange juice, orange zest, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and Sriracha. Stir until fully combined, then add your cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened.

Prepare Orange Chicken

Add chicken back to the pan and toss in the sauce until coated.

Divide and Serve

Divide noodles into bowls, add broth and top with the orange chicken mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Enjoy!
